SIGN ON BONUS and a great opportunity for you! This is a DIRECT HIRE role for one of the top orthodontist offices in Darien AND Trumbull CT.

This position will be in Darien, CT and willing to travel to the Trumbull, CT location as well. This is a 4-day per week practice (2 days per office). Ideally, this role would be fulltime at the Darien location once that expands.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records

Experience:
- Prior experience in a dental or ortho office preferred
- Knowledge of medical documentation and terminology
- Familiarity with infection control procedures
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to perform dental receptionist duties when needed
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and X-Ray procedures
- Proficiency in using CAD software, Epic, or similar programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
