The Consumer Relations Specialist is responsible for the management of the Company’s interaction with
current and potential future customers. This position exists for the intake, investigation, and resolution
of sensitive product-related complaints involving customers and is helpful in providing educational
information to the public about our products. Through their interactions with consumers and retail
customers, the Consumer Relations Specialist helps to collect useful data for customer retention, business relationship development, and improvement, and driving sales contributing to Company growth.
Responsibilities
The significant responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. College coursework or a degree is a plus.
At least two years of previous experience in an office, retail, problem resolution based or legal
environment and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
Must be familiar with principles and practices of effective customer service;
Using initiative, discretion, and judgment within established procedures, guidelines, and rules;
Defining problems, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Effectively handle situations
requiring diplomacy, fairness, firmness, and sound judgment;
Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task; ability to answer/handle phone calls and escalated
matters in a professional manner; ability to be flexible and adaptable to change; the ability to work well
individually or with others; possess the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
with other teammates and employees; perform basic mathematical calculations;
Computer literate, MS Word and Excel (Beginner to Intermediate working knowledge), filing, typing, record
keeping, proficient with email correspondence, familiarity or working knowledge of Adobe, working
knowledge of copiers, printers, fax machines, scanners, and multi-line phones.
Displays a positive attitude; possesses a professional demeanor; maintains a strong work ethic; is
dependable; is goal-oriented; eager to “think outside the box.”
