Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and innovative SAP Master Data Governance Solution Architect to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical expertise in designing and architecting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions that meet the complex business needs of our clients. The SAP Master Data Governance Solution Architect will play a critical role in shaping master data management strategies, defining solution architectures, and guiding the implementation of SAP MDG projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions, including defining system landscapes, data models, governance workflows, and integration points with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their master data requirements, pain points, and objectives, and translate them into scalable and sustainable MDG architectures and designs.
• Develop comprehensive MDG solution blueprints, roadmaps, and implementation plans that align with business goals, industry best practices, and SAP standards.
• Guide Clients through Business Partners concept and data migration activities to and from S/4HANA MDG
• Responsible for defining Business Requirements, leading the Business Blueprint & Design process, configuration, assistance with testing, requirements gathering and ultimately setup a fully functional development, test, and production environment to delivery SAP MDG Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance.
• Create an Integration Test Plan for SAP MDG integrated with SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward, SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
• Analyze and problem solve issues with integrated data flows across the Client's SAP & Non-SAP systems
• Provide expert guidance on master data governance strategies, data governance frameworks, and data management principles, helping clients establish effective governance structures and policies.
• Define data migration strategies and oversee data migration activities, ensuring the accurate and seamless transition of master data from legacy systems to SAP MDG.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of third-party tools, technologies, and accelerators that complement SAP MDG and enhance master data management capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and system administrators, to ensure the successful implementation and integration of SAP MDG solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies, and tools for SAP Master Data Governance architecture and design.
• Design/build reports to be used for auditing purposes of master data and data quality checks
• Create configuration documents and training documents.
• Conduct train-the-trainer activities as needed to power users of SAP MDG
• Stay abreast of the latest SAP MDG updates, enhancements, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization of master data governance processes.
• Mentor and coach junior architects and consultants, providing guidance, support, and knowledge transfer on SAP MDG architecture and design principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) architecture and design, with a proven track record of delivering complex MDG projects.
• Strong proficiency in SAP MDG functionality, including data modeling, data replication, data quality management, and governance workflows.
• Extensive experience in designing scalable and robust SAP MDG architectures, including multi-domain, multi-system, and multi-client landscapes.
• Deep understanding of master data management principles, data governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of Material, Customer and Vendor Master data domains within SAP
• Experience in any of the following SAP MDG Releases:- SAP Master Data Governance Cloud 2211, SAP S/4HANA 1909 to 2208 Cloud
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and architect innovative solutions.
• SAP MDG certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with other SAP modules such SD, MM and FI in an SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP is a plus.
