Train and educate patients and family members or other support and documents understanding of treatment plan and goals. Assist with analysis of outcomes data to ensure compliance with established goals and regulations. Collaborate with patient and other healthcare personnel or outside agencies regarding coordination of care. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with established policies and regulations. Develop a treatment plan with measurable goals based on patient assessment. Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, treatment and related follow-up services including discharge planning. Provide occupational therapy according to standards of care defined by the state practice act and other professional and governing agencies.
