Transport Services is looking for team-oriented Parts Associate to join our Columbus branch! This is a non-CDL delivery driver/warehouse opening. You must be 21 or older with a clean driving record to qualify. All parts deliveries will be made in a company provided vehicle.

Pay starting at $18/hr with room for growth

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Transport Services is seeking a Parts Associate for our Parts Division in Columbus, Ohio. The Parts Associate is an essential member of the Parts Division. The Parts Associate’s primary function will be to deliver parts to customers. However, he/she will be trained to perform all operational processes from receiving to point-of-sale, and flex as needed to optimize productivity and customer service. This provides tremendous opportunity for career growth and advancement.

A SUCCESSFUL PARTS ASSOCIATE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

· Deliver parts to external customers (CDL not required).

· Load trucks for daily customer deliveries.

· Pick parts to fill orders.

· Restock warehouse shelves/bins with incoming parts.

· Assist with reorganization projects in the warehouse for optimal efficiency.

· Regular cycle counting and contributing to our annual physical inventory.

· General clean up and maintenance of the warehouse / shop as required.

· Receiving incoming deliveries.

· Enter customer orders into the computer/ERP system.

· Assist co-workers with parts-related questions and requests.

· Log lost sale occurrences and reasons.

· Assist with service jobs as required.

· Other responsibilities as assigned.

PREFERRED SKILLS/TRAITS OF THE PARTS ASSOCIATE TO INCLUDE:

• Experience in a Parts or warehouse operation, preferred.

THE LOCATION

The Columbus Transport Services location operates four divisions: Parts, Service, Equipment Sales, and Rental/Leasing. The Parts Division represents and stocks an extensive list of OEM and aftermarket parts to serve fleets and shops in the heavy duty truck and semi trailer industry. It also supports our 11-bay service shop and a body shop that repairs/maintains commercial fleets.
