We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant to join our healthcare team as a part-time employee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. You will also be responsible for other collections like urine drug screenings, alcohol breath tests, and hair collections.

Duties:

- Perform venipuncture to collect blood samples

- Label vials and package specimen samples accurately

- Follow proper aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety

- Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment

- Collects specimens for drug tests like urine or hair

Skills:

- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques

- Familiarity with clinical laboratory operations

- Experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred

- Ability to provide excellent patient service

- Competence in laboratory techniques and procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
