Seeking Counselors with an interest and experience working with children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old.

Position Summary:

Licensed Clinical Counselors facilitate therapeutic services in accordance with Epworth Center for Counseling policies and procedures. Licensed Clinical Counselors provide individual, group and family counseling services to clients and significant others with substance use problems, at-risk behaviors and/or behavioral needs. In addition, provide intake, assessment, case management, referral, and intervention services as needed.

This is a part-time, employed, fee for service position and is not considered an independent contractor.

The Licensed Clinical Counselors will provide services on-site and out of the Epworth Center for Counseling located at 1154 Sunnyside Drive, Columbia, SC 29204 supporting the Midlands region.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in a license-eligible field.

LPC/S, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPES, LPES-A, LISW-CP, OR LMSW in South Carolina.

Two (2) years-experience working with children who have therapeutic needs preferred but is not required.

Must be able to pass standard background checks, including drug screen, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.

Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.

Bilingual is a plus!
