DigiFlight is Hiring a Contracts Specialist Near Columbia, MD
Clearance: Active Secret clearance and eligible to obtain TS (SCI)
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required
Major Position Responsibilities:
- Serves as direct point of contact for contract processing and review with Primes/Subcontractors/Customers.
- Reviews and submits monthly status/spend reports, federal man hour reports/cost reports.
- Monitors and assesses the allocation of resources for contract compliance to identify areas of improvement and ensures contract compliance through collaboration with project controls and accounting.
- Completing and updating representations and certifications on behalf of the company as needed.
- Administers activities associated with contracts from the proposal phase through contract close; reviewing contract terms and conditions, communicating contract requirements to the organization; managing contract changes and monitoring performance to meet company objectives and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Experience with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and General Service Administration (GSA) type contracts.
- Perform other contract-related duties as assigned.
Required:
- 3 or more years of Federal Government Contracting Experience.
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Experience with FAR and DFAR regulations.
- Secret Clearance

- Government and Commercial contract law and regulation; Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR; Export Control Regulations; International and Foreign Military Sales; Contract analysis, interpretation, and compliance; Defense and high technology industries.
- Experience with Deltek CostPoint
- Local to Huntsville, AL or Columbia, MD w/occasional travel to Huntsville required.
