Peer Recovery Coach –full-time, contract responsible for welcoming individuals walking into Pines during business hours. Welcoming will include making the person comfortable for taking this courageous step, assisting with Same Day Access intake registration and service orientation, and screening for health and risk issues including substance use. The candidate must be in sustained recovery in order to help others achieve similar success. One’s own lived experience will be used to provide hope and encouragement to the person. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, and excellent customer service skills. Starting wage is $18 an hour with health insurance coverage for the employee, paid time off, and a retirement option. Pines will also pay for certification as a substance use recovery coach if one is not already in place (required), additional training opportunities as needed, a monthly wellness incentive, and free access to an EAP.
