Position for hire: Assistant to the Construction Manager
We are looking for an Office/Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated administrative team here at Shepherd Response. In this role you would be directly supporting the Construction Manager of our North Carolina office. We are a disaster recovery residential construction team that works in the field and in the office. You would be working as apart of our office staff directly supporting our permiting department. In this role, you will compile and deliver the required documentation to various departments in and outside of our organization.
As a new company, the current position will have substantial administrative and marketing duties as well and the candidate must be able to wear multiple hats. The candidate must be able to implement processes and workflows in order to help build a highly efficient company.
Current Responsibilities
- Completing permit applications in various counties
- Compiling supporting documentation
- Documenting the required administrative compliance for government programs
- You will learn how to submit permits to their specific offices
- Developing relationships with the permit offices
Requirements and Qualifications
- No degree required
- Teamwork Mentality

- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

- Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems
- The ability to present solutions when presenting problems
- An outgoing yet assertive personality that can build and maintain relationsips in and outside of the company
