Music Long-Term Substitute Teacher Lower Elementary Grades K-4

Period: Beginning Mid to Late-August through Mid-October, 2024 (6-7 Weeks total)

Job Summary: Full-Time, Hourly, Long-Term Substitute Grades K-4 music teaching position.

Job Duties Include:

• Teaching elementary students using a cohesive and sound pedagogical approach
• Passion to maintain a well-established program
• Successful applicants must also have strong keyboard skills, and must be committed to teaching in a Christ-centered community
• Preparing students for Christmas concerts
• Leading weekly chapel worship for our lower elementary students

Qualifications:

• Comfortable in a multi-denominational, Christian community
• Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education
• Current ODE certification
• Strong keyboard skills
