The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a Full-Time Research Fellow to serve temporary appointments, and work under the supervision of a professional mentor who is responsible for the Fellow's fiscal and intellectual activities. The purpose of the Research Fellowship is to gain understanding and advanced knowledge research methods and application of the theoretical knowledge from academic training, evaluate strengths and identification of limitations, development and refinement of research skills consistent with the particular scope of practice.

The position is offered by the Division of Movement Disorders. The incumbent will work in the area designated for the Division of Movement Disorders, which is currently in the Stetson Building across the street from University Hospital, but subject to change.

Essential Functions

* Perform and conduct duties and responsibilities required by professional mentor in accordance with all institutional and federal regulations.

* Engage in appropriate training and professional development opportunities.

* Coordinate research studies; initiate studies from protocol conception and carry them out; design projects in data capture systems (e.g., REDCap); develop websites (e.g., WordPress) and create web applications (e.g., R package); genomic data processing; big data management (e.g., from EHR; Clarity; SQL; Power BI); software programming.

* Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
