Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Electrical Assembler assembles, wires, or rebuilds precise sub-assemblies and machines from engineering drawings for advanced welding systems.
•Fastens and installs piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools, rivet guns, and soldering equipment.
•Inspects, operates, and tests completed products to verify functioning and conformance to customer specifications
•Positions and aligns components for assembly, manually or using hoists
•Reads and interprets assembly blueprints, schematic drawings, diagrams, work orders, specification manuals, and plans to determine material requirements and assembly instructions
•Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified
•Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities and to resolve assembly problems.
•Reworks, repairs, and replaces damaged parts or assemblies
