This position requires the successful candidate to assist Legal Counsel in researching developments in employment legislation and administrative regulations and assist in identifying and implementing employment-related processes and strategies across the Americas region. The successful candidate should have an interest in labor and employment laws and be able to grasp laws and regulations of several states as well as federal laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and assist Legal Counsel in implementing new and updated federal and state employment laws and regulations that impact the business.
- Research and provide summaries of employment and labor related matters, including OFCCP, DOL, and EEOC.
- Assist in managing a diverse range of pre-litigation, litigation and regulatory proceedings, including alternative dispute resolution, development of case strategy, facilitation of discovery responses, and cost control.
- J.D. candidate from an ABA accredited law school
- Interest in employment law
- Work both collaboratively and independently
- Strong ability to multitask and work in fast paced, demanding environment
