Job Summary:

The Principal Security Consultant for Zero Trust and Identity is a client-facing leader within the Cybersecurity Business Unit for Stratascale. The Principal Security Consultant will work with our Business Unit Leaders, Client Advisors, Cybersecurity Advisors, other Principal Security Consultants, and subject matter experts within the Business Unit to identify, qualify, and build service-centric solutions for our clients. The Principal Security Consultant will engage with Stratascales Enterprise Clients to uncover, develop, and win security services (both project-based professional services and managed services) opportunities by building strong client relationships at technical, architect, and executive levels. The Principal Security Consultant will consult with client stakeholders and influencers on security products and services to enable business and address client risk concerns and objectives.

This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by Stratascale management.?

Responsibilities:

Includes, but not limited to:

  • Develop best practices, strategies, and methodologies for new cybersecurity service offerings based on client engagements and needs, and work with the delivery teams within the Cybersecurity Business Unit to ensure a seamless transition of those services to quality delivery outcomes
  • Create an intellectual property for Stratascale by building new cybersecurity evaluation capabilities, prescriptive approaches across IT domains, and structure for automation, along with tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Responsible for driving gross margin generated by professional services and product sales, contributing to the business unit goals
  • Take ownership of client engagement for new opportunities, representing various products and services opportunities by engaging where appropriate, following up with prospects to discover, defend , and acquire new business
  • Collaborate and engage with customers to ensure account retention for security solutions and services business in existing accounts
  • Collaborate, develop , and execute strategy for top prospects with the sales team to discover, grow and acquire new business
  • Collaborate and engage with multiple levels of contacts within an organization, including but not limited to CISO, CIO, IT Directors, CTO, and Architects as needed
  • Build solid relationships and trust with the technical decision makers, and executive stake holders and own all aspects of technical closure of sales opportunities
  • Educate customers with product and services training, demos, and solution deep dives
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Cybersecurity Advisor and drive all aspects needed of the sales process
  • Drive business based on region/territory strategic account planning in collaboration with the account executive and extended teams as appropriate
  • Demonstrate leadership to ensure that the companys recommended solutions are comprehensive, achieve customer expectations, and meet customer business needs
  • Develop relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 vendors and services partners
  • Ongoing training and learning to understand the company services offerings in all security solution practice areas by attending company training and expanding knowledge through self-study
  • Educate and develop sales teams on technical selling, product training, services, and technology trends by setting up formal training and relationship building as needed
  • Mentor consultants, analysts, and engineers sharing knowledge, skills, and experience to improve the overall quality of deliverables and services within the practice
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of client-facing experience working on complex identity projects across the suite of identity functions (IAM, IGA, IDP, CIAM, MFA, etc.)
  • 7 years of extensive experience and expertise in building Zero Trust architectures and approaches for the modern enterprise

  • Strong fundamental understanding of technical security solutions and how they address customer risk exposure and use cases. Some examples include, but are not limited to:
    • IAM, MFA, SSO, CASB, PAM, Visibility and Analytics, SIEM, Zero Trust
    • Firewall, Email and Web security, EDR and EPP solutions, NAC, MDM
    • Security orchestration and automation (SOAR), Container and Cloud Security
    • IOT / ICS / OT Security solutions, DevSecOps, XDR
  • Strong fundamental understanding of security services engagements and how they address customer risk exposure and use cases. Some examples include, but are not limited to:
    • Maturity assessments, 3rd party risk assessments, IOT/ICS/OT security assessments, PCI/HIPAA assessments
    • Red/Blue/Purple team assessments, security policy development
    • Security tools rationalization assessment, Solution implementation services
    • Penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, Incident response services
Certifications Required:

Industry certifications (Preferred):

  • CISSP, CISA, CIAM, etc.

Vendor/OEM certifications from:

  • Cyberark
  • Saviynt
  • Okta
  • Ping Identity
  • Microsoft
  • Etc.
Unique Requirements:
  • Up to 25% travel for this role
Additional Information:
  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $230,000 - $300,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
