In this role, you will:
  • Lead design, development, and implementation of complex analytical processes and data driven algorithms/models to extract patterns and relationships from large/diverse data sets and convert into meaningful insights and evidence-based strategies for HR business problems and challenges
  • Utilize expertise in advanced analytical techniques such as AI, Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to process data at scale and synthesize into actionable intelligence, including unstructured data sources (e.g., employee surveys, performance reviews, skills inventory)
  • Leverage data science tools and methodologies to perform quantitative and qualitative research and investigate opportunities across employee life cycle (e.g., talent sourcing, workforce planning, learning/development, employee experience, listening/engagement, retention/attrition)
  • Develop predictive models to forecast complex HR related issues, such as turnover and staffing
  • Generate hypotheses regarding trends and drivers of employee behavior/performance, execute statistical tests to support/disprove, ensuring reliability, explainability, and ethics/responsibility
  • Present findings with effective storytelling, visualizations, and clear communication to interpret findings and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Support and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures, including ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, model development/deployment, performance monitoring/tuning, etc.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality standards, adhering to internal and external policies, procedures, and best practices for HR data management, risk/governance, and legal/regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders across functional teams to understand talent strategies, opportunities, and pain points to align analytical products/services with business outcomes
  • Drive data literacy and advocate for data-driven decision-making across the HR organization
  • Stay current with advancements in data science, technology, AI/ML, and people analytics
  • Lead analytical projects with clear communication of objectives/outcomes, tasks, and timelines
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5 years of data science experience, with expertise in advanced analytics and statistical analysis/modeling (e.g., predictive, forecasting), including quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, etc. programming languages/apps for data mining and modeling
  • Expertise with AI/ML libraries and packages (e.g., TensorFlow, PySpark) and big data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, MS Azure)
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, BERT, topic modeling), highly preferred
  • Experience with HR domain and data sources (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow), including people analytics and workforce insights, highly preferred
  • Well-versed in data analysis/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, PowerPoint/Excel)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to execute with precision and agility in fast paced, highly controlled environment
