Phlebotomist Technician

Education: High School Diploma, equivalent Phlebotomy certification

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist Technician to support draw stations located in Arlington, Cambridge, and Waltham, MA. This position offers 40 hours per week with no weekends or holidays required. The ideal candidate will have previous phlebotomy experience, with a focus on patient comfort and accurate specimen processing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy draws according to physician orders
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during the phlebotomy process
• Timely and accurate processing and documentation of specimens
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
• Flexibility to travel between draw stations as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification
• Previous phlebotomy experience outside of externship
• Ability to perform inpatient rounds
• COVID Vaccines Booster required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
