Job Description PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) are teaming together to provide systems engineering, software engineering, logistics, technical, and management support services to multiple program sponsors for 50 Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) systems.
- Provides system design support, operational support, full life cycle support, and repeated examination of support requirements throughout the service life the systems
- Provides ship's force with system familiarity training, to include references for installing software, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting GCCS-M AFLOAT/ASHORE, JADOCS, TBMCS, NAOC2/NTCSS, C2PC, MTC2, and/or LMMT USAF system during post-installation procedures and turnover schedule
- Manages and provides system engineering services for GCCS-M AFLOAT/ASHORE, JADOCS, TBMCS, NAOC2/NTCSS, C2PC, MTC2, and/or LMMT USAF implementation, maintenance, and site support, including installation and system upgrade support for the system
- Provides troubleshooting assistance, creates trouble tickets for required system(s), and reaches out to third parties to work cohesively throughout the scope of ongoing issues for the following systems: GCCS-M AFLOAT/ASHORE, JADOCS, TBMCS, NAOC2/NTCSS, C2PC, MTC2, and/or LMMT USAF
Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: - Active Secret clearance at start of position
- CompTIA Security
- Experience providing system engineering services for JADOCS to include implementation, maintenance, and site support
- Excellent communication skills via email, chats, and phone
- 2 years of experience with at least 1 of the following: Unix OS (Solaris 11), RedHat Certified Systems Administrator, Microsoft Certifications (Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Configuring Windows 7/10)
DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: - Experience with ITSM or Helix ticketing system to document Tier 2 helpdesk issues
- 2-5 years of experience with one of the following: Unix OS (Solaris 11), RedHat Certified Systems Administrator, Microsoft Certifications (Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Configuring Windows 7/10)
- 2-5 years of experience analyzing and providing GCCS-M AFLOAT/ASHORE, JADOCS, TBMCS, NAOC2/NTCSS, C2PC, MTC2, and/or LMMT USAF system engineering services to include troubleshooting and documentation of issues.
