Management Information Service (MIS) Support Specialist- Senior
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Build, maintain and sustain back office tools and application services to support mission needs.
•Create, publish, support implementation, utilize and enforce a MIS Support Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that outlines policies and procedures for MIS development, operations and maintenance.
•Provide MIS application support services to include:
o Requirements Management;
o User and Stakeholder reviews;
o Evaluation and document of current application development and design;
o Integration of applications with database tables;
o Database administration;
o Evaluation and analysis of existing database structures;
o Customer Surveys;
o Server and database directory services;
o Develop and publish code (HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript, etc.) to enable user interface and access to back-end SharePoint tools and services;
o Develop end-user tools and services utilizing enterprise SharePoint services;
o System diagnostics; and
o Proactive maintenance.
•Recommend IT applications architecture and assist in the development of Information Technology (IT) applications roadmaps to support mission and business functions.
•Capture, evaluate and document application development and enhancement requirements.
•Support existing Cloud Tools and Services such as "Platform as a Service"
Basic Qualifications :
•Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Engineering, Math, Scientific or related field
•3 Years JavaScript Development
•3 years SQL
•3 Years PHP Programming
•3 Years REST API
•3 Years Linux
•1 Years Jira
•Security Certification
Desired Qualifications:
•Experience working at NRO or in the Intelligence Community
•Experience Collecting User Requirements
•Database Encryption Techniques
•Knowledge of SharePoint Lists and Workflows
•Experience Working in a DevOps Environment
•Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Integration Support
Security Clearance Requirements:
•TS/SCI w/Poly
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to perform routine office work sitting at a desk and using basic office equipment.
•Work will be performed in Chantilly, VA
