Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team in the food industry. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of delicious baked goods for our restaurant and catering services. Your expertise in food production and adherence to food safety standards will contribute to the success of our bakery. Duties: - Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies - Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality - Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters - Monitor baking process to ensure proper timing and temperature control - Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner - Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies - Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the bakery area - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations - Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and fulfilling special orders Skills: - Proficient knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of dough - Strong knowledge of baking techniques and methods - Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment preferred - Familiarity with food production processes and industry standards - Understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent attention to detail for accurate measurements and presentation - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members - Customer service-oriented mindset to meet customer expectations This is a paid position that offers opportunities for growth within our organization.
