We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Manager of Accounting to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and functions, including the preparation of financial statements, year-end close processes, and the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures. This is a permanent role that offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse, innovative team in a highly respected manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to define financial strategy and policy.
• Lead the year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze accurate monthly financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast, and cash flow.
• Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with managers and employees, including interacting with our internal and external auditors.
• Supervise the accounting department to ensure the efficient operation of all functions.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master's degree or CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High proficiency in financial reporting, including year-end reporting, as well as in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced knowledge of financial software and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analysis skills, and the ability to manage complex information with discretion and integrity.
• An ability to drive process improvements and keep pace with our growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.
