Digital Retail Sales Manager

Reporting To : Chief Revenue Officer

Office : Carlsbad, CA

The Digital Retail Sales Manager , based in Carlsbad, CA, will have a deep understanding of ecommerce metrics and trends, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to build relationships with retail partner buying teams. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies across all aspects of our global retailers’ ecomm business, from management of digital retail COOP/MDF, retailer affiliate relationships, retailer 1P ecomm expansion and execution of the JLab experience on retailer platforms.

Responsibilities Include: 

· Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce growth strategy to increase sales and revenue for our online business with retail partners (excluding Amazon & JLab.com).

· Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for growth and make strategic decisions about product offerings, pricing, and promotions.

· Develop and maintain relationships with key brick-and-mortar retail partners within the organization to optimize JLab’s conversion rates on our retailers’ ecommerce platforms.

· Lead the development of A/B testing and experimentation strategies to optimize performance and user experience.

· Build relationships and retailer program knowledge with the in-house JLab sales representatives to allow for team driven management and planning across all sales partners and channels.

· Identify and evaluate new marketplace expansion opportunities and lead the execution of our expansion strategy across all relevant ecomm channels globally.

· Monitor and analyze ecommerce metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that ecommerce strategies align with overall business objectives set forth by the JLab retail account manager.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce/marketplace expansion and apply this knowledge to drive growth and innovation within our business.

Requirements:

· 5 years of experience in ecommerce management, preferably in a high-growth environment.

· Ability to work with a team as well as lone ranger who is willing to “get your hands dirty”.

· Proven track record of developing and implementing successful ecommerce growth strategies.

· Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both retailers and sales representatives.

· Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, Argos.com, Bol.com, etc.

· Experience with A/B testing and website optimization based on retailer marketing spends commitments.

· Ability to travel internationally occasionally.
