Health Center Manager – ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC – Canton, MS

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health Center Manager to lead our health management services at Nissan. The Health Center Manager will be responsible for overseeing all on-site medical operations, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and managing a team of health professionals. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of health services and enhancing the overall well-being of industrial employees.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Maintain a high level of commitment and engagement in health management programs. Develop strong relationships with client staff and vendors.
  • Manage medical information and records with a focus on clinical and legal sufficiency and compliance with confidentiality standards.
  • Oversee patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for both work-related and personal health issues.
  • Handle administrative management of patient care.
  • Prescribe and administer medications for episodic conditions and occupational injuries.
  • Monitor service levels and recommend staffing adjustments based on best practices.
  • Ensure detailed and accurate reporting as required, including patient care outcomes and compliance with health programs.
  • Actively recruit, train, and develop professional staff
  • Oversee the inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure cost-effective operations and appropriate service levels.
  • Manage electronic medical information systems to meet reporting and management requirements. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent for a Registered Nurse
  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of EBM guidelines and medical compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in managing electronic medical records systems.
