WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Content Writer you will be responsible for developing a content plan for your assigned area that will drive business objectives. You will accomplish this by writing, developing, editing, publish, track and optimize content and copy for a variety of digital platforms, including websites, blogs, videos, email, case studies, state of industry documents to promote our brands, products, and services. You will collaborate with the growth marketing team to evaluate efficacy of the marketing campaigns you contribute to and improve over time. 

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Burlington, MA office location preferred. Remote will be considered within the United States.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Create engaging and persuasive copy for marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, sales collateral, website content, social media posts, and email campaigns, and long and short form content pieces. Copy should be concise, and grammatically correct copy that communicates key messages and benefits of products or services, and approach should be able to be adjusted to reflect external voice of a variety of brands. Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive content plans to drive awareness, foster engagement and generate demand via unique content for publication across online or digital platforms to drive business objectives.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other team members to ensure copy and visuals work together seamlessly. 
  • Partner with growth marketing team to review performance of marketing campaigns to improve effectiveness. Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and campaigns. 
  • Understand and incorporate research on target audiences and industry trends into approach to ensure copy aligns with the brand's tone and messaging. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies including AI, and best practices in copywriting and marketing. 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred.
  • Additional certifications or courses in copywriting, advertising, or digital marketing preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency or in-house marketing team.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies.
  • Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Strong research skills to understand target audience, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Experience in using tools and software for copywriting and content management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating compelling and persuasive copy across various channels.
