We are hiring a Per Diem (19 hours or less per week) Case Aide / Transporter for Catholic Charities for the Family Enrichment Program at our Bailey Avenue office for our clients in the Buffalo area.
JOB SUMMARY:

• The Transportation/Case Aide supports the Visitation Social Worker by providing transportation and assistance with families in visits when necessary (eg. for larger families or families with special needs).
• Will receive ongoing training with the goal of being able to cover/assist with visits when needed.

• Communicate, comply with, promote and monitor integrity and ethical performance, consistent with Catholic Charities' Corporate Compliance, Code of Ethics, HIPAA, legal mandates & labor laws, managing contractual/funder regulations & accreditation standards, regulations, policies and procedures (e.g. COA, BBB)
• Promote agency vision, direction and integrity and assist with agency efforts to identify, explore and develop opportunities to enhance, market, and expand existing services and programs throughout WNY.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: MSW or the equivalent from an accredited academic institution. BS/BA/BSW will be considered with commensurate experience
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Must enjoy working with children and families and have excellent engagement skills; experience preferred.
• Candidate must be able to accurately and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Requires the ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with other service providers and foster/ custodial parents.
• Must be dependable, flexible and available to work evenings and weekend days.
• Reliable transportation and excellent driving skills required.
• Must be able to comfortably navigate throughout Erie County.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• As responsibilities may require travel, must have appropriate and reliable transportation, and agency-required level of auto insurance coverage and be able to travel as needed within the eight county WNY region.
• Must be prepared to work a flexible schedule in order to participate in agency-related activities/events that may take place outside of typical business hours.
