Watts Architects & Engineers is Hiring a Project Architect Near Buffalo, NY
We have an immediate opening for a Project Architect in our Buffalo office. This position offers the potential for a variety of work experiences with an architecture and engineering consulting firm. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the project managers within the group.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Perform fieldwork, documentation, and research
- Maintain dynamic communications with contractors, clients, and staff
- Utilize building codes and regulations to inform design decisions
- Coordinate engineering systems
- Determine materials and calculate quantities required
- Use computer-aided drafting software to create detailed designs
- Prepare construction document packages independently
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 6-12 years of professional experience
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Knowledge and experience with industrial, educational and healthcare sectors
- Strong graphic, written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- NYS Professional License preferred
- $65,000-$80,000 per year
