We are seeking an experienced Glass Installer to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install crane cab glass in an industrial setting.
• Cut laminated glass panes on the job site to fit existing bolt-in type frames or directly into crane cabs.
• Replace or install hinged, pivoting, sliding, framed, and fixed windows. 
• Read and understand specifications and fabrication drawings to carry out custom cab window installations.
• Work safely in accordance with company and client policies to remove and replace existing damaged glass. 
• Work at heights to remove, lift, place, and secure glass panels.
• Provide related assistance to company facility maintenance personnel due to storm damage, vandalism, accidents, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1yr experience as a glazier/equipment window installer.
• Based in Broussard, LA but requires frequent travel to out of state locations. Work assignments will include warehouse, shop, yard, and offshore platform locations. 
• Communicate in a professional manner with co-workers and clients.
• Lift and carry 50LB.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• Be trained and assist other technicians as needed to accomplish the overall project goals.
• Drive personal vehicle to offshore job site transportation hubs. Candidates with reliable transportation are preferred.
