You Will

• Support complex business initiatives as Altana launches new products and services
• Lead financial statement preparation
• Support various projects including strategic tax planning, future technical accounting standards adoption, and financial statement benchmarking
• Support controllership function to maintain accurate monthly close results
• Contribute to contract design and negotiations to align with US GAAP and reporting requirements
• Review lease agreements to identify embedded leases and apply appropriate accounting guidance
• Support statutory reporting requirements domestically and internationally
• Support our transition to Netsuite

You Have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• CPA with Big 4 and in-house experience preferred
• 3-6 years experience in accounting with preferably 2 years industry side at a software company
• Strong interest and experience working GAAP (SEC experience is a bonus)
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
• Strong project management skills and detail orientation
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online,Microsoft/Google suites and Netsuite

This role is be based out of our Brooklyn office, with hybrid work flexibility.
