Our client is a self-performing general contractor providing civil, structural and mechanical construction services for the industrial markets. Target projects range from new construction to retrofits/upgrades in support of capital construction, maintenance and outage related work.

Construction Project Engineer/ Coordinator NEEDED!

Direct Hire: $75K-$95K base (based on overall experience)
Relocation assistance provided to those who qualify
M/V/D, 401K, PTO, Holiday pay
DUTIES:

Manage all construction document control (bidding, submittals, RFI's, change orders).
Reviews jobs with estimator to help the bid process.
Review and sign off on estimate prior to proposal completion.
Assists in master schedule preparation.
Creates overall job schedule and issues schedule, work orders and budgets to the office and field.
Responsible for monitoring materials and work completed to issue pay requests for each job before billing due date.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a preference.
-1-2 yrs of commercial and/or industrial construction experience as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator or Assistant PM.
-Knowledge and experience with supporting modifications and upgrades to existing facilities and new construction projects.
-MUST be fluent with construction documents.
-Must be willing to travel occasionally, work from home and handle multiple jobs.
-Software proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, Project and Primavera P6 is beneficial.
-Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
-MUST pass pre-employment screening
