RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Culture primary cells and continuous cell lines such as neutrophils, hematopoietic stem cells, immune cells, and/or relevant cell lines to support in vitro/ex vivo experiments.

• Perform in vitro assays including various compounds screening assays and enzymatic assays.

• Conduct molecular biology techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and western blot.

• Utilize plate readers, fluorescence microscopy, and flow cytometry.

• Perform data analysis using Excel, XLfit, FlowJo, and GraphPad Prism.

• Maintain proper documentation of experimental procedures and results via an electronic laboratory notebook.

• Write and review technical reports.

• Present scientific results in internal research meetings.

• Prepare and maintain a constant supply of reagents, buffers, and other materials to support on-going assays.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree in biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related discipline, or bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of pharmaceutical experience. The job title can be adjusted based on the candidate's experience.

• Hands-on experience with cell culture and standard molecular biology assays, including enzymatic assays, flow cytometry, and western blot, is required.

• Experience with data processing, analysis, statistics, and data interpretation is required.

• Experience working with cellular imaging instruments, fluorescence microscopes, ELISA, and qPCR is a plus.

• Experience working with immune cells and hematopoietic stem cells is a plus.

• Experience with automated liquid handling is a plus.
