Optometric Technician:

• Run patient testing per doctor's plan, using appropriate equipment.
• Record patient data and relay to doctors.
• Prep patient's chart.
• Facilitate patient flow from front desk to the doctors.
• Process records request, faxes, co-management letters. 
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in exam and testing rooms. 

Optician:

• Educating patients on optical choices for frames and materials based on their prescriptions
• Place orders for glasses and contacts
• Data input into the EMR (RevolutionEHR) software,
• Frame repairs and adjustments
• Explaining charges and insurance benefits to the patient
• Submit claims
