As a member of the POWER Environmental Leadership Team, this position is expected to help with partnering relationships and day-to-day advice and guidance for the direction of the Environmental Division. We seek a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead our environmental services Renewables Industry Team. Ideally, this person will have very successful experience in the siting and environmental permitting of renewable generation projects. A proven history in energy industry-related business development, leadership, and supervisory experience is required. Summary of Roles and Responsibilities Primary responsibilities for this position include business development, building and maintaining renewable client relationships, tracking business development costs, and tracking industry trends for environmental opportunities. This is a high-level senior project management and project execution position with oversight and QA/QC responsibilities. Renewables Marketing Responsibilities Lead the development of an Environmental focused- Renewables marketing plan and assist in executing the plan Identify new and existing clients for pursuit in the Renewables industry market - wind, solar, geothermal, pumped hydro storage, battery energy storage, etc. Develop clients with internal members of the organization and establish initial engagements. Help to expand engagements to develop clientele and win work Develop client relationships, particularly at the senior and executive levels. Focus on key clients, as well as endeavor to have significant networks throughout the industry as a source of market information Track the status of potential projects. Identify emerging large projects and enter into CRM.
