Certified Nursing Assistant/ Nurse Apprentice - Infusion Cen at St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview Sign On Bonus Eligible St. Luke's Health System in Meridian is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nurse Apprentice to join our Infusion Center team. Unit/Position Duties Checking in, rooming, and and taking vital signs of patients. Picking up medications in the pharmacy Taking specimens to the lab (If CNA/NA has taken the phlebotomy course, CNA/NA will occasionally draw labs.) Schedule: (Part-Time - 0.5 FTE - 40 hours per 2 week pay period) Shifts times are either 7:00am-5:30pm or 8:30am-7pm (10 hour shifts, 2 per week) Shift times and Days vary with rotating weekends Working every 4 th weekend Responsibilities Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Documents information in patient record. Performs various direct patient care activities under direction of licensed patient care provider. Communicates information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care. Assists physicians and other nursing staff members with procedures as appropriate. Performs tasks and procedures as ordered by the physician or licensed provider consistent with approved protocols, policies, and procedures. Performs tasks that require a unique body of knowledge and skills for that area of service. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
