Excel Facility Services Group Inc is Hiring an Area Supervisor Near Billings, MT
Responsibilities
- Assign janitorial duties to staff/subcontractor and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met
- Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed. Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted
- Assisting with the screening and hiring of new job applicants.
- Providing training and guidance to janitorial staff.
- Resolving conflicts between janitorial staff in an efficient manner
- Attending meetings and in-service training sessions as required.
- Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.
- Monitor staff attendance, and report absences to account manager.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork including but not limited to quality reports, signoffs, summary sheets, schedules, and timesheets from time management system
- Make recommendations to upper management regarding promotions transfers and dismissals.
- Maintain quality standards
- Investigate and resolve clients’ complaints of missed or improperly cleaned areas.
- Perform monthly QC inspection via QC portal
- Overtime may be required, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Visit Assigned location Offices on a weekly basis.
- Provide Inspections when visiting locations to the account manager.
- Cover staff when on PTO.
- Assist with providing coverage when needed at the location assigned.
- Assisting with the screening and hiring of new job applicants
- Investigate and resolve clients’ complaints of missed or improperly cleaned areas.
- Assist with completion of additional work orders if necessary.
- Full knowledge of janitorial field
- Driver's License
- Travel 50% of the time
- Special cleaning project knowledge preferred (strip and wax, carpet extraction)
- Friendly staff and management

- Accrued sick time after 90 days
- One Week Vacation after 1 year of employment
- Medical Insurance after 90 days
