Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient assessment, IV insertion, and post-operative care.

Duties:
- Monitor patients post-anesthesia and assess their condition
- Manage patient recovery from anesthesia and surgery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families

Skills:
- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protection
- Experience in case management and medical office procedures
- Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing care principles
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth
- Ability to perform patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
- Skilled in IV insertion and monitoring intravenous therapy
- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and lifting
