CLARK is Hiring a Laborer Near Bethesda, MD

Perform tasks involving physical labor at building and heavy construction projects to clean and prepare job sites as required to assist other craft workers such as carpenters and concrete finishers. Essential Functions: Remove forms from walls and columns Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones Smooth freshly poured concrete or concrete, using shovel, come-along, or powered vibrator Dig compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools Oversee filling of loads and coordinate delivery with foreman and crane operator Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces Apply caulking compounds by hand or using caulking guns Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships Clark Construction Group is one of the largest building and infrastructure companies in the United States.
