As the Preferred Banking Office Operations Associate, you will make clients feel welcomed and valued by building lasting relationships, doing the right thing, and exceeding their expectations. You will support business development and partner with the Preferred Banking Office Manager on office operations.Job responsibilities Working with the Preferred Banking Office Manager to set the tone of the office environment to provide an exceptional client experience. Assist team members with policies, procedures, products, systems, and banking transactions, review operating procedures and practices to identify possible opportunities for improvement. Support the Preferred Banking Office Manager with all aspects of branch operations, including loss control, compliance, and audit standards. Process client transactions according to Bank policies, preparing daily work, bank deposits, ATM and Night Depository, and filing bank records.Manage assigned customers and proactively meet with them - in person and over the phone - to build lasting relationships, discover financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.Required qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: Minimum two years of retail banking experience, or equivalent experience in financial services. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. Proficiency in operations and transaction accuracy while working well in a team environment. Detail-oriented, organized and ability to multi-task. Ability to work preferred banking Office hours, including weekends and some evenings. Ability to travel and work at different Preferred Banking Office locations within district/region as needed.Preferred qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: College degree or military equivalent strongly preferred.
