Southwestern Illinois College is Hiring a Project coordinator Near Belleville, IL
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this grant-funded, part-time Special Projects Coordinator for Para Pre-Apprenticeship provides leadership to the Education Department in helping activities associated with paraprofessional pre-apprenticeship grant and assists the students’ transition into Southwestern Illinois Collage.
The Coordinator will assist with the Education program with marketing, data collection, recruitment, and supervision. The Coordinator must interact well with students, early childhood and K-12 providers, instructors and student services’ staff.
The position requires flexible work hours including day, evening an possible weekend hours. This is a part-time, twelve-month position averaging up to 28 hours per week and is contingent on grant funding.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in communicating and building relationships with early childhood and K-12 providers.
- Previous K-12 experience preferred.
- Background in computers preferred.
STARTING PAY AND HOURS
$24.38 per hour, up to 28 hours per week
