The Medical-Surgical unit is a fast paced unit where the nurse will perfect time management skills as well as learn to multi-task.This unit encompasses a wide variety of patients with many different diagnosis.The nurse will gain experience in management ofpatients post operatively as well as management of pain and intravenous lines. The nurse will perform numerous procedures and practice many nursing skills while providing compassionateand caring nursing care.
Educational Opportunities within the first year of employment include: CPR, ACLS, Preceptor and Charge Nurse Training.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
