Pride Health is hiring an Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support our client’s medical facility based in Baton Rouge, LA 70809 This is a 3 months contract assignment (conversion into permanent based on your work performance).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complex Activity Management: Apply knowledge and skills to manage complex activities efficiently.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate extensive knowledge and skills, often extending beyond own function.
• Technical Resource: Act as a key technical resource within the function.
• Customer Solutions: Anticipate customer needs and proactively identify solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Solve complex problems independently and proactively identify new solutions.
• Work Organization: Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives.
• Team Facilitation: Resolve conflicts within the team and act as a key team member on cross-functional project teams.
• Staff Training: Train new and current staff on new and existing procedures, including aseptic technique, proper garbing, gowning, and compliance with USP 797 guidelines.
• Workflow Management: Manage workflow processes within the sterile complex to ensure timely and accurate completion according to policy and procedure.
• Quality Control: Assess daily cleaning and aseptic techniques of compounding technicians, addressing any observed issues.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Louisiana
• Minimum of 3 years of consistent sterile compounding experience, including knowledge of diverse manipulations such as TPNs and ACDs
• 1 year of experience with computers and MS Office products
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. frequently in a warehouse environment

Additional Information:

Schedule: Flexible hours between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Mon- Friday

Pay Range: $18.00/hr. - $23hr.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
