Job Description : As a Special Education Teacher with an LBS1 certification, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Providing differentiated instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students with disabilities.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure student success.
• Communicating regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to provide updates on student performance and progress.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and promotes student growth and development.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• LBS1 certification or eligibility for certification in Illinois.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
