The Studance Lab Dance Studio is Hiring a Programs Director Near Avondale, AZ

Reports To: Studio Manager

Location: The Studance Lab

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

The Programs Director at Studance Lab is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of all dance programs and curricula. This role involves supervising the teaching staff, coordinating team activities, and ensuring the highest standards of dance education and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development and Management:

  • Design, develop, and implement diverse dance programs and curricula for different age groups and skill levels.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing programs to meet the evolving needs of students and the dance community.
  • Ensure all programs align with the studio's mission, vision, and goals.

Teacher Supervision and Support:

  • Hire, train, and supervise all teaching staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality instruction.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for teachers.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for all staff members.

Team Coordination:

  • Oversee the activities of the Teams Director and individual team directors.
  • Ensure effective planning and execution of team practices, competitions, and performances.
  • Support team directors in resolving any issues related to team dynamics or performance.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other directors and managers to ensure cohesive program delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Studio Manager and Enrollment Coordinator to manage student registrations and class schedules.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and students to address any concerns and provide updates on programs and events.

Quality Assurance and Improvement:

  • Implement best practices in dance education and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Solicit and act on feedback from students, parents, and staff to continually enhance program quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in dance education or program management.
  • Proven track record of successful program development and staff supervision.
  • Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Education, Arts Administration, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using dance studio management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
