A manufacturing company in southeast Austin is looking to bring on a Data Entry Specialist to support their team. This is a long-term contract position paying $22-26/hr depending on experience. This is a hybrid role (2 days/week in office, 3 remote)- candidates must be located in the Austin, TX area to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Enter data into supplier databases
- Enter new and updated supplier and account information to maintain database
- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
- Establish entry priorities
- Process supplier and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies
- Maintain database accuracy through reporting
- Work with finance and treasury teams on data validation
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Actively pursue operational improvements to increase customer support
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from various individuals, groups and managers
- 2 years of data entry/data analyst experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP
- Bachelors degree preferred
