Geologics is seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineerto work with one of our national aerospace and defense partners in support of a mission-critical, classified program. This a 6-month contract position with the potential for direct-hire conversion, dependent on qualifications and skillset. Position: SeniorSystems Engineer Type: W-2, Contract to Direct Hire (6 month contract with potential extension or direct-hire conversion) Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour Location: Onsite in Aurora, CO DoD Clearance Requirement: In order to be considered for this position, an Active Top Secret-SCI is required. Due to the nature of work performed in the facility, U.S. citizenship is required. For any inquiries or additional details regarding Security Clearances, please visit the United States Department of State webpage: https://www.state.gov/security-clearances Job Responsibilities: * Perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, use case development, system and operational requirements, interface architecture and ConOps, and requirement/system validation.
* Support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning/ development, interfacing with personnel from other organizations.
* Provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software teams and test personnel.
* Attend technical interchange meetings with the team members and other program personnel and represents the organization in matters pertaining to the maintenance of his/her project.
* Define external and internal interfaces
* Provide document review and resolves technical systems engineering and integration issues.
* Support ECP efforts as required.
* Provide support in a software development systems engineering role using Agile methodology
* Interacting with customers and end-users
* Providing and briefing status to program management and customers
Required Skills/Qualifications: * In order to be considered for this position, an Active Top Secret-SCI is required.
* Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Candidates without a Bachelor's degree will be considered if all other qualifications are met. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, to include:
* Experience with generating DoDAF architecture views with Cameo
* Experience with Agile or DevOps development
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: * Experience with systems engineering principles and activities on a large government software development contract
* Experience being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams
* Experience in SIGINT and/or Digital communications
* Experience in the RF domain
* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration
