**Salary Range*:*** $99,790.00 - $137,000.00 Annually

Salary is dependent on education and experience. The General Manager of Product Support Sales is responsible for all sales activities for the Product Support group. There is a focus on growing, managing and sustaining our market share throughout each territory, as well as implementing Caterpillar programs, ensuring proper claiming procedures, and communicating results.

***Direct Reports Include:** Colorado Product Support Sales Manager, New Mexico/Texas Product Support Sales Manager, Product Support Inside Sales Reps, Site Performance Managers*.

**Essential Functions:**

* Establish relationships with our top 20 customers

* Lead both Product Support Sales Managers(PSSM) ensuring all customer request are handled with a sense urgency

* Working the PSSM review each territory and customer par performance to determine proper coverage

* Work with our Caterpillar representatives to establish Service Growth annual targets and metrics

* Support the Parts, Service, Sales and Marketing, and Digital excellence programs

* Communicate sales activity, specifically quoting with our Parts and Service Managers

* Implement Product Support Quoter (PSQ) throughout the territory

* Manage our Continuous improvement (CI) projects

* Manage our PSSR, ISR and SPMs commission plans adjust as needed

* Work with Operation and Administrative groups to ensure proper Cat reporting and program claiming

* Continue to support Cats Prioritize Service Events (PSE) and ensure our PSSR responsiveness

* Profit and loss responsibility including sales, gross profit and direct expenses for the product support sales group

* Works with both General Managers to promote teamwork and proper customer communication

* Communicate issues and problems with the General Managers as needed

* Works closely with Branch Managers to assure the PSSRs are effective and engaged with their local branch

* Develops and maintains effective relationships with all CAT Reps

* Work with Parts O&A to ensure proper parts stocking levels such as GET

* Weekly reporting on our sales funnel management (number of quotes, leads and activities)

* Evaluate the number of PSSRs reporting to each PSSM, and recommend changes to ensure proper PSSR support

* Have a working knowledge of CAT products

* Understand how to use Cat apps and tools (Cat inspect, Undercarriage measurement etc)

* Performs all required supervisory duties for his team

* Assures team receives annual training to increase job skills and performance

* Assures team is fully utilizing CRM system (activities, opportunities, engine population, etc)

* Leads team in embracing the Wagner safety culture

* All other duties as assigned by manager

**Required Education & Experience:**

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field

* 8 years in sales/sales management or related positions with demonstrated leadership skills

* 5 years customer service experience

* 5 years sales experience

* 5 years supervisor/management experience

* 3-5 years technical/mechanical experience

* 3-5 years administrative/clerical experience

**Competencies:**

* Telephone, reading/writing, organizational, communication, math, & reasoning skills

* Ability to understand all aspects of a financial business plan
