Sales Consultant
The Hearth Doctor is seeking friendly, motivated Sales Consultants to join our team in Auburn and Topsham, Maine. In this role, you'll utilize your stellar customer service skills to guide customers through selecting and purchasing the perfect fireplace, stove or hearth accessories for their home.
Responsibilities :
- Greet customers and qualify their needs, wants and budget for a new fireplace / stove
- Educate customers on the features and benefits of various fireplace options (wood, gas, pellet, etc.)
- Provide in-home estimates and measurements for fireplace installations
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and share expert advice
- Close sales while delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain customer records and follow up on prospective leads
- Ensure showroom floors look neat and inviting at all times
Requirements :
- Retail, sales or customer service experience is required
- Home improvement, HVAC or fireplace experience is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, patient and helpful customer-focused attitude
- Strong organization and multitasking skills
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
