Summary
Seeking an experienced Product Owner capable of problem solving and who possesses strong decision-making skills along with a deep understanding of mobile technologies, end user research, customer experience, and mobile market trends. As a Mobile Application Product Owner, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our mobile banking experience and driving customer satisfaction. The position is US remote and must be located in the eastern time zone.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the vision and strategy for our mobile banking app.
• Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
• Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer needs and market trends.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the app.
• Monitor app performance, analyze metrics, and identify areas for optimization.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
• Actively support the product line manager (Roadmap planning, portfolio strategy)
• Drives process and quality improvement
• Provides solution-level direction across agile teams as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software development tasks
• 3-5 years’ work-related experience
• Experience in the development of a mobile application
• Experience with APIs
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Strong ability to understand technical issues at a high level
• Demonstrates strong accountability
• Capable of working independently of Product Line Manager
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate as a change agent, influencing and driving action organizationally
• Proven record of driving agile team/s to break stories down into smaller stories that comfortably fit in a sprint and have business value
