Our corporate client is looking for a Communications Specialist to work within the executive communications team of Corporate Communication, this position will provide communications support for the office of the president, chairman and CEO of Southern Company Gas.
Responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to, executive speechwriting, enterprise-wide communications from the CEO, social media development and management for the CEO, creation of key messages and briefing documents, event planning to include Southern Company Gas officer forums and Gas Connect town-hall meetings, and video production.
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
This is a 40 hour a week, freelance opportunity that requires being onsite 2-3 days a week in midtown.
