BeanTree Learning is looking for an experienced PreKindergarten Teacher to work with our four- through five-year-olds through hands-on learning experiences that will give them a solid foundation to grow and develop. A bachelor’s degree within the education field is preferred and at least two years of previous experience within a licensed childcare facility is required.
BeanTree Learning offers a teaching experience unlike any other. We offer a challenging and rewarding environment through small class sizes for a positive teaching experience as well as support staff to aid in the day-to-day responsibilities of housekeeping services and a rotating team.
As part of our Preschool Team, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Plans enriching lessons and activities;
· Assesses students progress throughout the year based on the philosophy and policies;
· Creates an organized, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment;
· Uses a variety of teaching techniques including modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing;
· Provides positive guidance to the children including redirecting, positive language, and positive reinforcement; and
· Is a positive role model for children.
