* 7 years of hands on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on premise and cloud resources
* 5 years networking experience
* 2 years operating system (Windows, Linux, or similar) administration and operation experience
* 2 years virtualization (VMware, HyperV, VirtualBox, or similar) experience
* 2 years experience with high order software languages such as C, C , Java, Python
* 2 years experience in container management technologies like OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, Docker
* Experience using a source code repository such as Git, BitBucket, Mercurial, or Subversion

Job Description:
* Support the development of and recommend improvements to open architectures and applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for Cloud deployment and consumption.
* Support the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, Micro-Services.
* Support the architecture, design, development, troubleshoot, and implementation of cloud solutions
* Work closely with the Cyber Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.
* Demonstrate creative and valuable solutions for addressing problems or improving services for our customers
* Report status on tasks and assignments, including appropriate task prioritization
* Must be able to perform effectively as part of a project \"team\".
* Travel as needed to maintain existing solutions at customer sites (up to 25%)
* Generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs with high level guidance provided by senior engineers, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.
* Identify and evaluate appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs including determining the extend of customization needed to an existing solution and the impact to implementing within the program cost and delivery schedule
* Effectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levels
* Must be self-motivated and expected to work independently with minimal supervision
